We believe that God has called us to help others connect with Him beyond our local church and beyond our borders. Jesus told his disciples, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth."

Available Short-Term Trips

This past November, a group of members of our church led by Missions Director, Nitza Masferrer, traveled to Medellin Colombia.  They visited the boys foster home Más Que Vencedores as well as a home for girls founded by Marta Mosquera, who has dedicated her life to rescuing at-risk girls from dangerous and unhealthy environments.  The group was accompanied by the American Airlines Employee Resource Group which aided in the transportation of a total of twenty-six 70lb bags filled with toys and much-needed clothes for the boys and girls.

The American Airlines Employee Resource Group has also arranged for the Medellin AA office to sponsor a special fun-filled event on December 13th at Medellin's Herrera airport for the children.  Among the many surprises is the opportunity for the children to board a real American Airlines jet and enjoy the experience for an hour while the plane is grounded.
