The key to becoming a growing ministry is to become a smaller ministry. In today’s culture, teens have become more and more isolated because of broken relationships at home, and the diverse technological and entertainment options available to them. Many of them have little contact with their own parents much less other adults outside the home that can help make sense out of the issues they’re facing. Their need for genuine community and healthy relationships is greater than ever.
This is what HOUSE is all about. It provides an environment where a caring adult can connect with a small group of students and help them in their walk with Christ and through life. A typical small group environment provides time for
- Discussion of relevant topics and how the Bible addresses them
- Meaningful interaction between all members of the group
- Connecting with God through prayer
- a casual environment
HOUSE groups meet in homes around the city. For more information call or write ICA Student Ministry (305) 649-4407 students@ica.tv.
