20/20: God’s Vision, Our Decision is our action plan to accomplish God’s vision for ICA: to reach others and lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus.
Our response to this campaign will determine the direction of our spiritual journey together for years to come. 20/20: God’s Vision, Our Decision is not about fundraising for a building; it’s about building God’s Kingdom by achieving our maximum spiritual and financial potential.
Looking Ahead
A clear need
ICA is currently without a home to call its own. Although we are thankful that God is doing great things through us in our current, temporary location, we are evidently limited. We believe, that in order to allow God to continue working through ICA, we need to build a place where we can create the proper environment to help people of all ages grow in their personal relationship with Jesus.
A focused solution
Our new building must adhere to two important criteria. First, It must facilitate the building of relationships. Second, it must allow us to create relevant environments.
FoyerGoal: We envision a large, comfortable space that is inviting enough for people to stay and chat before and after a service.
Main Sanctuary Goal: Although our main sanctuary will be quite large, seating approximately 1,200 people, we don’t want to loose a sense of community. We want our sanctuary to be an environment that makes people want to connect with God and with others.
Student ministry buildingGoal: Our students need a space they can truly call their own. This space must be multifunctional allowing us to create programs that will attract outside students as well as help our own to grow relationally and spiritually.
Children’s ministry building Goal: At ICA, we want to strategically use our time with the children to plant a seed of God’s love and wisdom in their hearts and minds. Our Children’s ministries area will be a kid-friendly/secure environment providing fun and safety for kids and parents.
Staff officesGoal: As our church grows we know our staff will also grow in order to handle the administrative needs of the church. They will need an efficient space that will allow them to communicate, plan, and work effectively.
ParkingGoal: Parking was severely limited at our previous location. We want to make a good first impression as guests arrive; our new parking lot should be spacious enough for everyone to park comfortably.
